Found this at a yard sale but I have no idea what it is. Thoughts? SEE BELOW…

Long before automatic washers hummed quietly in our homes, laundry day was a brutal, all‑day ordeal. Water had to be carried, heated, soap made or bought, clothes scrubbed by hand, then rinsed again and again. But the worst part came after: wringing out heavy, sopping fabric that could strain arms, backs, and fingers raw. That’s where this forgotten device changed everything. Clamped to a washtub, its paired rollers squeezed out water as a crank turned, forcing shirts, sheets, and towels through a tight, relentless grip. It didn’t remove the hard work, but it cut hours from the job and spared countless bodies from injury and exhaustion. For many families, owning one was a small revolution, a quiet step toward comfort and dignity. Today, it looks like a bizarre relic. In its time, it felt like a miracle.

My male boss had no idea I owned 90% of the company stock. He leaned back in his chair, smirked, and said, ‘We don’t need incompetent people like you. Leave.’ I smiled the way people do when they already know the ending and said, ‘Fine. Fire me.’ He thought my badge was the only reason I belonged in that building. He had no clue the next shareholder meeting was going to teach him a very expensive lesson in math. Uncategorized
